Pipe Line Controls

The Auto Power pipe line control system consists of a programable timer and a pressure switch, making it a reliable, efficient and simple method to maintain water levels in tanks that are located in distant locations from the well site.

The Auto Power system operates on the principle that when the floats are all closed (tanks are full) the pressure will rise in the pipe line causing the pressure sitch to close, signaling the generator to shut off.

For thesystem to function, the pressure in the pipe line needs only to rise for a moment. This enables operation without the need of a pressure tank; also, conventional float valves are adequte and small pressure leaks do not affect its performance.

Explanation of a Cycle

The generator starts and runs until the tanks refilled. At this time, pressure builds in the pipe line closing the pressure switch. When the pressure switch closes the engine shuts off and the timer in activated.

The timer is programmed to obtain the length of "Off Time" desired. Upon the completion of the "Off Time" period, the cycle is repeated.

The "Run Time" is not contrlled by the timer, but the floats and the pressure switch. This method allows the generator to run only for the time required to fill the tank.
