Model H Instructions |
| The AUTO POWER Model H self-starting standby generator is a
safe, portable, reliable and very affordable method to ensure that
electric power is maintained during a utility company failure.
The AUTO POWER system is completely self-contained including a transfer switch, (no back feed to power lines) and a built in battery maintainer. No other switches or controls of any kind are required. When a complete power loss or "brown out" condition exists, the AUTO POWER starts, transfers the power demand of the equipment or appliance connected to the AUTO POWER, to the generator output. At the time normal power is restored, the AUTO POWER shuts the engine off and switches the power demand back to the utility company. This is done safely and automatically without manual intervention. |
To put the AUTO
POWER in service:
1. Place AUTO POWER in a well-ventilated, dry location. 2. Attach ground wire to generator frame. 3. Connect fuel supply (LP or natural gas) to engine. The LP or natural gas fittings, lines and regulators must be in compliance with local, state and federal laws (must be regulated to 6.35 oz/sq in.). 4. Connect the devices you want protected against power outage to the outlets on the control box. Do not overload the system. 5. Plug the AUTO POWER system into any existing 30A (220 V) outlet. 6. To activate the system, move the toggle switch to the "on" position. to test the system, unplug the power cord from the outlet (simulates power failure). |
